Jenly Deiter was born and raised in eastern Pennsylvania. She began dancing at the age of three and has been teaching for more than 10 years.
While attending graduate school in Philadelphia in 2009, Jenly found her passion for aerial circus arts. She trained and performed at the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts until a job opportunity brought her back to Pittsburgh in 2012.
Jenly has been providing aerial instruction and coaching in Pittsburgh for about two years and is so pleased to call Fullbody Fitness her home studio. Jenly became co-owner of the studio in Novermber of 2014 and is thrilled to help the Fullbody community grow and thrive!
Strength and Conditioning Coach
Mark Freeman is an elite international gymnast, performer and coach from Manchester, England. At the age of 9 he became involved in the world of gymnastics. By the age of 12 he had made the Great Britain Junior National team, where he remained until he graduated to the senior ranks, picking up numerous National titles and awards along the way.
In 2002 he made gymnastics history by becoming the first ever British gymnast to win a major international competition. He did this by earning the title Junior European champion on the Still Rings at the European Championships in Patras, Greece.
After this he made the transition into senior international gymnastics, representing Great Britain in various international competitions all over the world, including the 2002 and 2003 World Championships.
In 2004 he received a full scholarship to attend the University of California, Berkeley, where he competed for the division 1 men’s gymnastics team at numerous NCAA championships. He also coached the recreation club team for level 9 and 10 gymnasts. In 2008 he graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelors degree in Sociology.
After University he left the gymnastics world to continue his journey in a new arena, performing for the internationally recognized Cirque du Soleil. He participated in the creation of the 2010 touring production Totem. He then toured and performed with the show for nearly 5 years.
In 2014 he finished performing for Cirque du Soleil to pursue another aspiration: helping other athletes achieve success in their own personal endeavors. To this end he created Freeman Technique LLC, and has been teaching in the greater Pittsburgh area ever since.
Aerial Arts Instructor
Shelby is from Canonsburg, PA and began her aerial training with Kelsey and Jenly in the fall of 2013. After her first year, she realized her passion for teaching and began training as an instructor. In addition to being a part of the Fullbody team, Shelby also performs with Kelsey and Jenly's company, Iron City Aerial. She performs on aerial silks, hoop, rope, and static trapeze, as well as pole. When she's not working on her spins and drops, she spends her time rock climbing, practicing yoga, and biking.
Aerial Yoga Instructor
Marcy was a dancer growing up and has trained in many different styles from ballet, jazz, acrobatics, tap, hip hop and more. Since she has always loved to dance and stay active, Marcy started taking Zumba classes a few years ago. She then decided to receive her instructor certification in January 2011. Teaching has been such a joy for her ever since! Marcy is CPR certified and also recently received a certification in Masala Bhangra from Ashley Douglas. She is currently attending Point Park University and working towards her degree in Accounting and also looks forward to continuing her fitness career as well.
Nikkie has been a part of the Fullbody family since 2011. She came to the studio as a beginner pole student with the goal of inverting before her 40th birthday. While it was a challenge, she achieved her goal!. After just a few weeks she fell in love with pole and before long knew she wanted to pursue instructor certification. Nikkie earned her certification from Discovery Dance and has been an instructor at Fullbody since January 2014. She understands how challenging it can be to begin a new fitness program especially one that takes you out of your comfort zone. Nikkie strives create a supportive, comfortable and open environment for her students while encouraging them to become stronger and more self-confident with each class.
Candice fell in love with pole fitness in 2010. Each class allowed her to discover her unexplored physical strength, embrace her inner daredevil, and defy gravity in ways she never thought possible. Candice is a true pole fitness ambassador, encouraging women of all ages, shapes and sizes to give this addictive form of exercise a try. If she had her way, pole fitness would be an Olympic sport! Candie earned her pole fitness certification through PoleMoves (Sanctoned by the Pole Fitness Association) and is trained in First Aid/CPR/AED. As a former member at Fullbody Fitness Club, Candice is thrilled to be a part of the Fullbody family and is looking forward to sharing her passion for pole fitness and helping students reach new heights!
Jill is the newest member of our pole faculty but has been a part of the pole program at Fullbody since the beginning!
